Short Film

SOURCE CODE

January 2065. A Marine Corps officer visits the base psychiatrist after his loss of focus costs lives on a remote-controlled battlefield.

Produced by The Atlantic Council, a Washington-based foreign policy and national security think tank, Source Code is an engaging film that animates questions about AI and the future of war.  An adaptation of leading geopolitical expert and technology futurist Jamie Metzl’s short story, “A Visit to Weizenbaum,” and true to the enduring mission of the Council’s Art of War project, the film expands the discussion from technology alone to the role of humans in the future of war and to how they may find synergy with artificially intelligent machines.
